mcdonalds will offer free wifi starting next month, to compete w panera.
meanwhile i got to try one of those wireless phone cards for a laptop, nice.
i predict the mcdonalds offering will help push wider adoption of free wifi by chains, as an intermediary step towards ubiquitous internet.
