the first ted talk i saw was paul stamets on how mushrooms can save the world.
i found a bag of mulch that was being thrown away because it was infected with a fungus, what looks to me like oyster mushroom. so i spread it on my front flower bed and covered it with a little dirt and watered it, and about a month later today i noticed my first mushrooms.
