This is on my mind because my sister got a free ipad today when her utility installed a demand management system, which she doesn't really need since she has solar hot water and 13 photovoltaic panels. Hawaii has a few more wind farms than the last time I was here. It otherwise makes electricity from imported deisel, so they are eager for any power they can get from alternative sources.
