INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A person was shot and killed on the near-east side Thursday morning.

Officers found the victim near 10th & Rural streets around 10:45 a.m. when they responded to a report of shots fired in the area.

The victim was taken to Eskenazi, but later died.

Investigators tell WTHR.com they don't yet have a suspect description or possible motive.
