I learned just now that the victorian mansion i've been interested in was given by the mad scientist to the city.
That could turn out to be bad news, or not-as-bad news... it lets me know where to look next.
Update: ok, not the city, but the indiana historic landmarks foundation. link. I'm getting closer.

I found out getting nominated for the nobel peace prize isn't as easy as I'd thought from a Volokh discussion. The nobel committee picks a secret group of nominators, so it's hard to lobby, not like the oscars or pulitizers.
I'll have to do something else to brush up my resume. Maybe get a job.
I thought about volunteering to run the Osborne campaign for the Senate against Lugar, but am unlikely to follow up. (Reading LBJ bios brings out my ambitious steak at times.)
I don't have online time to follow Volokh (or crescat) the way I used to - I had missed that Sasha Volokh did get the clerk job with Alito after all, and now that that's finished he's back at the conspiracy.

I forgot to go to the Pink concert last night. And my air conditioner blew a fuse I haven't tried to fix yet. So I'm hot and disoriented.. nothing new.

My notes for whatever I came here to do are.. short and misplaced. I guess it's just to get into some air conditioning. I'm having fun catching up on blogs and sites I've neglected for awhile. It's 8 pm so I'm missing a community association meeting I was going to go to... judgment call that it's too late to go now.
