HEY, I MET THE INSTA-WIFE THROUGH AN EX-GIRLFRIEND: I Set My Best Friend Up With My Ex. If you choose the people you date well upfront, you’re much more likely to get along with them afterward. And if you do, you know them well enough to set them up with someone suitable. But, of course, that’s still no guarantee.
I met my second girlfriend through my first. That was years ago, and there are no sogns of girlfriend number #3 any time soon. The long term plan involves getting rich and then spending some time walking around asia till I meet a potential spouse, but I'm at least ten years behind on that plan.
My E key is sticking so if som words look lik this, that's why.
It also appars instapundit has added a comments section, which is somewhat earthshattering.

amazon thought i might like this album by mojo nixon and jello biafra.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001ARRVKO/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title
amazon was right. i saw jello live once with the dead kennedies at the blue note in boulder, but i was drunk and high and don't really remember the show.
one of my favorite tracks here is their version of phil ochs' "love me love love me, i'm a liberal."
i was at amazon reviewing ina caro's book on french history. caro is the wife and writing partner of Robert Caro, who has won two pulitzers for his books about New York and LBJ. His LBJ books (4 so far, one still to come) were lifechanging for me.

Questionable content will be at gencon this year. http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2508 Maybe I'll go get myself a Coffee of Doom mug for my birthday. Apparently this year I have both time and money to go to gencon. Also my new house is in walking distance. I'm not a gamer, so gencon is not -quite- my people, but it's as close as I'm likely to get living in indy. I don't network well.

The Cannon canon:
A rare case on the 13th Amendment.
http://www.volokh.com/2013/08/05/todays-argument-in-united-states-v-cannon/
department of baude watching.
Will Baude, the newest, I think, member of the Volokh Conspiracy, has been making a number of interesting substantive posts on constitutional topics. The VC is in the top ten law blogs. It's been a daily read for me for years. I also used to folow Baude at crescat sententia when he was an undergrad and then law student, but his new status as among the elect and law professor like his father, means that his ideas have a wider audience and are making a splash in the blogosphere.
I expect this trend will continue.
I'll also be on the lookout for articles like "Canning the Cannon canon" or "The Cannon canon canyon".

Questionable content turns 10. That's a little longer than I've been blogging. I am liking the current story arc with Dale and the AI. I don't think that my webcomic or my blogging hav gotten bettr with time the way QC's art has.
Somewhere yesterday, maybe on the bus on in chinatown, my E key got sticky, and now it's not showing up unless i backspace and put it in, so i'v been doing that a lot.
