Can someone explain to me what Hillary Clinton has lied about throughout her lifetime?

in this post i'll mention a few ethical concerns, not all of them are lying per se.

she was assigned to defend an alleged rapist, and attacked the character of the innocent teen victim with what i would call lies and innuendo, so the guy got off. that sort of thing is often considered good lawyering.

she profited by serving on the boards of companies like walmart and perdue while her husband was governor, which can be seen as a bribe to her husband for favors. lbj routed many of his bribes through a media company nominally controlled by his wife. clinton closely studied LBJ.

in one of the more graphic episodes, she turned $1,000 into $100,000, by being used as a shill by a crooked commodities dealer. she has parlayed these kind of investments into a $2 billion foundation she co-runs with bill. many note a parallel with evita peron who did that sort of thing. or imelda marcos

she and tipper attempted to censor records and video games, although it didnt pass or was found unconstitutional or both, i forget.

she's cagey about her possible history of drug use during her student hippie years. but keeping quiet isn't lying.

whitewater. crooked land deal using embezzled federal funds to try to sell swamp land to yokels. she was directly involved. she had a friend die in jail, jailed largely because he refused to testify against her, whether out of loyalty or fear i dont know. the impeachment grew out of that investigation. those records are still under seal. so contrary to populat myth bill wasn't impeached for a blow job,it was about embezzling and the coverup, the kind of stuff joe kennedy got so rich at.

the coverup of gennifer flower's abortion with bill via character assassination, and a time when it would likely have killed the 92 campaign if more fully revealed. as alan hansen says, this is a pattern with her. it probably wasn't hillary who nailed kathleen willey's cat to her door as a warning, but somebody did.

in clinton v jones, she and bill resisted the jones lawsuit all the way up to the supreme court, where she lost. the court found this an abuse of executive privilege, a major constitutional crisis on par with us v nixon.

speaking of nixon, hillary was a staffer on the impeachment committee, and was accused by other staffers of unethical conduct, i think including lying, in which she and others including archibald cox were using the impeachment just for partisan reasons, to get nixon just because he was a republican leader.

later she'd claim her husband's impeachment was just a partisan thing. he was impeached for numerous reasons, but they included nationally televised perjury under oath, for which he was disbarred. now him being a perjurer doesn't make her one, but i think they have a culture of lying in that family. i dont know anything about chelsea.

there were allegations about a cover up in the vincent foster death. a close friend of hers killed himself, perhaps out of guilt and stress because of his fears her conduct would come to light, but we dont know this for sure. certain missing records later turned up in hillary's part of the white house. i tend to see this as inconclusive, although she has a history of coverups.

in "conduct unbecoming", i think, a federal official tasked with giving security clearances to the incoming white house staff found them evasive and hostile compared to the ghwbush crew, and a large number of nominees were voted down by the senate or had to withdraw their nominations for various illegalities or ethical problems. the clintons were seen as surrounded by a bunch of hippies and small town crooks, and having a culture of cynicism and disregard for the law and the truth. i'm enough of a hippie myself to feel some sympathy for them on that.

speaking of small town crooks, bill was raised in a house with a crooked roulette wheel in a back room. honesty just wasn't part of his upbringing; hillary knew better but embraced the dark side anyway.

the clintons continued a process of tearing down public respect for the presidency, what was called under LBJ "the credibilty gap". when eisenhower spoke, america believed him. lbj on the other hand was an artist of a liar, from a cowboy culture where skill at spinning tall tales is valued, something twain has written about. the clintons are in that tradition. in the 50s, americans believed the government, somewhat naively. now, people assume a president, like obama, is lying. lbj and the clintons and maybe nixon are mostly responsible. when the people at the top set the tone, the national character changes, and americans are far less honest than they used to be, so there's less trust, and trust is needed for the economy to function well.

when the clintons ruled arkansas, there were people in jail under the sodomy law who were jailed for getting consensual blow jobs, meanwhile bill was pressuring interns for blow jobs, usually getting them. so there's a note of conflict there. it's not realistic to think hillary knew nothing about this. it is said they had an open relationship, but publicly pretended otherwise. she spent years enabling a sexual predator. meanwhile gop senators were hounded out of office for hugging or kissing staff, the hatfield thing. no allegation of sex with hatfield, just a pattern of inappropriate touching.i would say she's still covering up bill's affairs, 30-40 years later, a long con. and when she cant cover them up, she distances herself from him, but can't divorce him if she wanted to because she's running for office, at any cost.

this is totally off the top of my head, vague recollections of some books i read a long time ago. i could go on, those are some highlights.

Probably the most disturbing is her decades-long and militant defense of her husband's numerous sexual assaults on his female underlings (and long-time girlfriends), and her subsequent attempts to silence, intimidate, and vilify his accusers-- even in the face of unequivocal proof and financial payoff.
