Anyway, stuff i've been reading lately... China Men, Maxine Kingston, 1980, a followup to Warrior Woman. makes me realize I don't know enough obout the Chinese American civil rights cases.
A bio of Renoir by his son. A book by a guy about making records of Wagner's ring cycle, in the early 60s when stereo was hidef and 33 rpms was a compact disc.
I don't know anything about Wagner or recording, but the guy was passionate about his topics so it made a good read. Been working overtime, eyestrain, no time to blog.
